Kita mengetahui bahwa Salomo adalah simbol dari hikmat dalam Alkitab.<\/p>\n<p>Ketika ditawari oleh TUHAN Allah apa yang diminta oleh Salomo sebagai raja Israel yang menggantikan Daud, raja baru ini tidak meminta kekayaan atau kemuliaan, tetapi meminta hikmat.<\/p>\n<p>Alkitab The Message mencatat permohonan Salomo sebagai berikut:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what I want: Give me a God-listening heart so I can lead your people well, discerning the difference between good and evil. For who on their own is capable of leading your glorious people?<sup>[<a href=\"#kesederhanaan-hikmat-n-1\" class=\"footnoted\" id=\"to-kesederhanaan-hikmat-n-1\">1<\/a>]<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jadi, hikmat itu sederhana, hati yang mendengarkan Tuhan. Mau berhikmat? Pastikan kita memiliki hati yang sedia mendengarkan Tuhan.
