Special character semacam ini di LibreOffice Writer bisa diakses lewat menu <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>Insert &gt; Special Character&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2191\" alt=\"Special Character\" src=\"http:\/\/martianuswb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Untitled-1-LibreOffice-Writer_003.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"347\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sedikit repot memang kalau harus setiap kali mengakses menu tersebut. Paling tidak ada dua cara untuk membuat semacam shortcut dari Special Character.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Cara 1.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Misal kita ambil contoh huruf \u00e8. Buka menu special character, dan di sebelah kanan bawah tertera Unicode U+00E8. Unicode ini bisa dipakai sebagai shortcut.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2190\" alt=\"Unicode01\" src=\"http:\/\/martianuswb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Special-Characters_004.png\" width=\"450\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Untuk menulis karakter \u00e8 bisa dipakai keyboard shortcut <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong>Ctrl + Shift + U + 00e8<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. Tekan dulu Ctrl, Shift, dan u, lepaskan, baru kemudian ketikkan 00e8, diikuti dengan spasi atau Enter. Ini diatur melalui Ubuntu. Dari Dash, ketikkan keyboard. Kemudian buka aplikasi Keyboard. Pilih <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>Shortcuts &gt; Typing &gt; Compose Key<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. Kemudian pilih tombol keyboard yang akan menjadi compose key. Kalau huruf \u00e9 dengan kombinasi <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong>R-Ctrl + e + &#8216;<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.
