[id]Allah menyebut Daud sebagai “orang yang berkenan di hati-Ku<\/strong><\/em>” (Kisah Para Rasul 13:22). Ia tidak menyebut orang lain dengan sebutan itu. Ia menyebut Paulus sebagai rasul, Yohanes sebagai orang yang dikasihi-Nya, tetapi mereka tidak disebut sebagai orang yang berkenan di hati-Nya.<\/p>\n

Orang dapat membaca kisah Daud dan bertanya-tanya apakah yang Allah lihat di dalam dirinya. Daud jatuh sesering ia berdiri, tersandung sesering ia mengalakan lawan.<\/p>\n

Orang yang berkenan di hati Allah? Kenyataan bahwa Allah memandang Daud seperti itu memberikan harapan kepada kita semua. Hidup Daud kurang mencerminkan hidup orang suci yang tak berdosa.<\/p>\n

Pada saat-saat terbaik Daud, tak ada yang melebihinya. Pada saat-saat terburuknya, adakah orang yang lebih buruk darinya? Hati yang dikasihi Allah adalah hati yang tidak mulus. [\/id]<\/p>\n

[en]”A man after My own heart<\/em><\/strong>” (Acts 13:22), that was David called by God. He didn’t call the others with that name. God called Paul as a prophet, John as a man whom He loved, but they never called as a man after His own heart.<\/p>\n

People can read David story and ask what God saw in him. David fell as often as he stood up, lost as often as won.<\/p>\n

A man of God’s own heart? Fact that God saw David like that give us a hope. David was not a perfect man, he was not sinless.<\/p>\n

In his best times, no one could exceed David. But in his worst time, were there any man worse than him. A heart after God’s own heart is the heart that is not smooth.[\/en]<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
